Hello,
    I am the Photographer/PR person for the Bags.  I have been living in Michigan since 1972, but I’m, really a Californian at heart.  I grew up in a town called Crescent City.  I  attended Prairie Bible Institute, located in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, spent a summer in Europe with Greater Europe Mission, then moved to Garden City, Michigan where I met and married my very best friend, Jim Hegwood.

 Jim and I had worked with youth in our local church for over 10 years when he developed cancer and went home to be with the Lord within a short 18 months

    Eleven years later, our children are grown, I am working with children with Autism in the local school district, and am amazed at what God has done.  He has taught me to depend totally upon Him, not myself.  He has taught me that He alone is trustworthy.  When the world all around me is out of control, He is in control.  He has shown me in his Word, that all along He has had a plan for my children and me. Jeremiah 29: 11 says, “ I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord.  Plans for your welfare and not for evil. Plans to give you a future and a hope.
    Now that I am writing with ThreeOlBags, I am excited to see what new roads the Lord has for my life.  I must admit, that when Jim died, and I was left alone to raise two teenagers, I was not excited. Jim was my best friend, and I felt lost without him, but let me encourage you if you are ever in a similar situation.  God is more than able to see you through.  If you do not know Him as a friend and Savior, please feel free to contact me, Sharon and I will be glad to introduce you to Him.
